Shy 13-Year-Old Is A Superstar In The Making Thanks To Her Unforgettable AGT Performance

Stage fright. It’s got to us all before.

It could’ve happened on stage at a school recital, or maybe when you were asked to sing karaoke during that party you attended last week. No matter where you experienced stage fright, we all know that it’s pretty normal and it can happen to even the most seasoned singer out there!

Now, if you think that performing in front of a crowd of strangers is nerve-wracking, then how about performing on live television? Terrifying, right? Well, no hurdle is too big or too small for anyone wishing for a shot at the spotlight. And this special young girl definitely proves it.

Despite her nervousness, Courtney Hadwin has managed to win the judges and America’s Got Talent over with a performance that will go down in reality show history!

Courtney Hadwin: America’s Got Talent Hopeful Tears Up The Stage With Unforgettable Performance

Looks like the world has found the new Janis Joplin.

Courtney Hadwin has been hailed a singing sensation after her performance on America’s Got Talent.

The 13-year-old, who hails from the village of Hesleden in the United Kingdom, traveled all the way to the US in hopes of pursuing her dream.

And it looks like she’s well on her way to doing that. Courtney impressed judge Howie Mandel so much with her take on the Otis Redding classic, “Hard to Handle”, he pushed the golden buzzer to send the teen straight to the finals! Even fellow judge Simon Cowell was impressed, calling Courtney a ‘lion’.

But Courtney was anything but fearless when she first entered the stage. She came across as shy and uncertain while she hid behind her long hair. However, that all changed when the music started. With the musical prowess of a seasoned performer, Courtney kicked, danced, and sang her way to the well-deserved golden buzzer.

Howie was more than happy to bring Courtney to the finals. He shared an anecdote about Clive Davis meeting the legendary Janis Joplin for the first time. Though Howie was quick to note that he didn’t own a record company like Davis, he could help Courtney move one step closer to her goal of becoming a successful singer one day.
