12-Year-Old Boy Sings Classic Ballad And It’s Truly Impressive

Nothing matches up to watching remarkable new talent on your favorite TV show, except reliving your favorite performances, perhaps. Remember how Susan Boyle wowed us all in the 2009 edition of Britain’s Got Talent? She didn’t win the title, but she remained the crowd favorite throughout the contest even so. But today, we’re here to remind you about another unforgettable singer who owned Britain’s Got Talent stage three years after Susan did. And he was only 12 years old then.

Young Ronan Parke had a lot going for him when he first appeared on TV. He had baby-face good looks, an irresistible charm, and a remarkable singing talent to match. One could almost say that Ronan was born to be on stage. He auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent in 2011 at age 12 and was determined to sweep the judges away with his voice.

Sure enough, Ronan managed to gain three resounding yeses from judges Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre, and Louis Walsh. The pre-teen performed the song “Feeling Good” from the British musical “The Roar of the Greasepaint-The Smell of the Crowd.” Even before Ronan had hit the last note, the entire audience was giving him a standing ovation! He was quickly named “the one to beat,” and like Susan Boyle, he became the hands-down favorite for all BGT viewers.
